IMA Provides Fun for 350 Local Residents!
The IMA Recreation Association had 350 people attend the Whaley Park Project – Community Cookout
on June 12! The cookout was open to the public and attracted residents and business representatives from the eastside community; students, parents and faculty from Williams Elementary School, Potter Elementary School and Washington Elementary School; and many other active community members. Attendees enjoyed scaling the giant inflatable obstacle course, bouncing in the sports arena inflatable, playing kickball, making bendable bead worms in the arts and crafts area, and grooving to the melodic tunes of Jazz on Wheels. IMA Baseball and Softball

Since 2000, the IMA Recreation Association has been reviving the sport of baseball and softball. This year the IMA Recreation Department in conjunction with the Greater Flint Baseball-Softball Commission continues this tradition while hosting their annual organized baseball and softball programs for both youth and adults right here in Genesee County.
