Genesee County Amateur Golf Tournament
• July 11, 12 & 13
• Individual Stroke Play
• Three Divisions
• $65 - $95 per person
Three divisions include Open Division (any age, 54 holes), Senior Division (55-65, 54 holes) & Super Senior Division (66+ 36 holes). All participants must be residents of Genesee County. Entry fee for Open and Senior Division is $95; Super Senior Division is $65. Entry fee includes greens fee for 2 or 3 days (depending on division), tee gift, trophies and appetizers at awards party

Junior Clinic Dates
• Open to Boys & Girls ages 5 - 14
• 7-week Clinic includes two sessions on-course

This one-hour clinic runs once a week on Wednesdays. Instruction is age appropriate & includes two sessions of on-course play. Each student will receive a FREE PAIR OF NIKE GOLF SHOES & a FREE SLEEVE OF BALLS! $98 per student includes PGA Professional instruction, Nike golf shoes, sleeve of balls, on-course play and junior awards banquet on August 6! Whaley Park Community Cookout

The IMA Recreation Association is working on a two-year project aimed at improving Whaley Park; a City of Flint owned park located along the Flint River on the east-side of Flint. Over the next two years, the Whaley Park Project will work on clean-up, beautification, and organization of family-oriented programs and events in the park. The goal of the Whaley Park project is to provide the eastside Flint community with a clean, beautiful, and safe park that offers a variety of outdoor recreation options for children and adults in the neighborhood.

In order to assure that the Whaley Park Project meets the needs of the community, the IMA Recreation Association held a Community Conversation in May to hear what community members wanted for the future of Whaley Park.

On Wednesday, June 12, join us for the last day of school for Flint Schools at a special Whaley Park Community Cookout from 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Hear the results and what to expect in the park over the next two years and enjoy an afternoon with food and fun for the entire family!
