Coriasso Wins Genesee County Amateur Golf Tournament
Mike Coriasso shot a 4-over-par 76 on Sunday for a 54-score of 218 for a win in the inaugural Genesee County Amateur Golf Championship at IMA Brookwood Golf Club. Coriasso finished one shot ahead of Eastern Michigan’s Joey Stimac, who shot a 73 for a 219 total, and University of Michigan’s Billy
McKay Jr., who shot a 77 for 220 total. Rich Burke won the Senior Division shooting a 71 for a total of 219 ahead of first round leader Steve Presser with a 225 and Tom Day with a 237. In the Super Senior Division, Ron White shot 77-78 for a 155 to finish ahead of Norm Davis (82-75 --157) by two shots.
Lee Powers came in third (81-82--163). |

40 & Over Baseball League Looking for Teams
The 2008 IMA Jack Wright (40 & Over) Baseball League will be taking registrations through July 23.
• Teams register at IMA Brookwood Golf Club from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Registrations will be accepted via phone, if paid by credit card.
• Teams that register after July 23 will be subject to a $25 late fee.
Played at Broome Park, IMA offers organized league play, lighted fields and concession stands with
clean and well maintained fields. Games will begin the last week of July. Call Sarah Raglon,
