Detroit Pistons Home Opener Special for Area Kids!
The IMA Children’s Recreation Fund and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint treated 40 local kids to the home opener game of the Detroit Pistons on November 4 at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The IMA Children’s Recreation Fund provided a bus to transport the kids to and from The Palace while the Boys and Girls Club provided the tickets. It was a great evening of fun with the Pistons winning 92-90 against a tough Atlanta opponent.
After School Programs at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater FlintThe IMA Children’s Recreation Fund just finished an 8-week after-school
session at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint. Over 100 kids learned
to
play floor hockey, basketball and kickball in a healthy and safe after-school
environment. The program finished with a pizza party and trophies and
ribbons for all!
