The IMA Recreation Association has rejuvenated baseball in Flint by establishing the IMA Greater Flint Area Baseball/Softball Commission. The Commission provides organized baseball and softball programs for kids and adults throughout Genesee County.

IMA Adult Softball teams play at Davison Regional Park in Davison with signups beginning in February. The league begins the last Friday in April and runs for 14 weeks ending in summer playoffs. IMA leagues include division for men's, women's and co-ed and are for adults 18 and over and out of high school.

The IMA also offers a fall Die-Hard league for those that cannot get enough softball during the summer. Die-Hard usually begins the second week of September and runs for five weeks. Die-Hard divisions include men's and co-ed leagues and all games are double-headers.

Senior League Softball is played at Whaley Park in Flint for adults 50 years of age and older. This program runs early June through late August.
